A long adventurous climb & descent on Mescalito

The “full” “full” version version of the climb, ended-up in 13 pitches to the very top and 5+ rappels.

Mescalito looks kind of small relatively to its neighbors, but it is a pretty long climb

The start is low grade but will keep you awake

Then the cruxes are pitch 3 and..

4, with some steep pods

Climbing gets much simpler until..

..a pretty steep face climb, fine but not the most secure

Then it is back to some cool cracks

and a last traverse and roof

On the very top of Mescalito

Walking down toward the rappels

South side with Rainbow Wall in the very back

Some real rappels

Also some rappel trees gone..
